In 2015, the Hills Raiders Basketball Association (HRBA) entered 3 teams into the State Championships.  The teams did really well, winning quite a few games between them.  Based on this successful venture into a higher level of basketball, the HRBA decided to enter 8 teams into the State Championships in 2016.

The teams have been training weekly for quite some time in preparation for this big event.  The HRBA have designed a new uniform for the players which, as you can see in these photos, are fantastic and in line with the current fashion in basketball uniform design.

Good luck to all of our players, coaches and managers over the 3 weekends.  We would really appreciate it if you can get to the Stadium to give our young players some support.  Although State Championships can be very exciting, as we found out last year it can also be quite an overwhelming experience for players and coaches, many of whom will be playing there for the first time.  Therefore, plenty of familiar faces will be surely welcomed.
