Then we want you on the Hills Raiders State Championship teams. Tryouts for all ages will held over three days at Mundaring Arena and players need to attend all three sessions.
Sunday 14th October Saturday 20th October Sunday 21st October
U15s and U17s (boys and girls) 1pm to 2.30pm
U11s and u13s (boys and girls) 3pm to 4.30pm
Cost: $10 per player per session
Registrations are not required for tryouts, just turn up on the day at the appropriate time. We look forward to seeing you there.
BWA State Championships
The 2018 Smarter than Smoking BWA State Championships will be held over three weekends. Games are played at Bendat Basketball Centre and Warwick Stadium. Players selected for the HRBA State Champ teams will be required to commit to being available for the entire weekend that their games are scheduled for as fixtures can mean that you are at the venue for the entire day.
U15 girls, U17 girls and U17 boys 24th & 25th November
U11 girls, U11 boys and U13 girls 1st & 2nd December
U13 boys and U15 boys 8th & 9th December
Please note that applicable age groups as detailed below, no variations or exemptions to the age grading are allowed:
U11 – born in 2009 and 2008; U13 – born in 2007 and 2006; U15 – born in 2005 and 2004; U17 – born in 2003 and 2002.
The HRBA State Champ squads will be selected after the three week try-out period on Sunday, 21st October. The cost to register with the team on selection is $55 per player which includes the BWA nomination fee and the 2018 HRBA State Champs training shirt.
Training days will be Saturdays and Sundays from Saturday, 27 October through to the State Champs. All training session will be held indoors at Mundaring Arena and there is a $10 weekly training fee to cover the cost of court hire. All squad members are expected to attend both weekly training sessions.
Training times will be:
1pm to 2.30pm for U15s and U17s
3pm to 4.30pm for U11s and U13s
